The first guitar pedal in the Chris Reimer Legacy Series, THE SQUID was Chris’ first and only fully realized pedal design. While he worked tirelessly on fuzz and distortion experiments, this unit was the only one that he successfully mounted in an enclosure and used in his chain for recording and performing before his untimely death in 2012.

His girlfriend, Rena, has picked up where he left off, assembling his ideas and bringing them to fruition with this series launch, finally offering his effects dreams to the public.

THE SQUID, a transistor-based distorto-fuzz, is available as a limited run of 10 handmade pedals, each one equipped with a different random color LED, hand manufactured by audio engineer and electronics technican Rena Kozak at Studio Saint Zo in Montreal Quebec.
